Design Strategy

As a design strategist, I combine design thinking, user research, and business strategy to craft solutions that align with our organisation's goals. I bridge the gap between design and business. By analysing market trends, user needs, and competitive landscapes, I guide the development of products, services, and experiences that resonate with our target audiences.

  • Design research - gathering, analysing and interpreting data and insights to inspire, guide and provide context for designs or strategy

  • Visual thinking strategies - conceptualising new ideas or brainstorming solutions, creation of various artefacts, visual note-taking, process models to help inspire decision-making

  • Facilitation - collaborating cross-functionally to coordinate and align teams to strategy.

Visual Thinking

Project Activity Cards. Designed, built, and produced these cards to help teams with scoping and planning activities required to meet project goals and scope. These cards also included t-shirt sizing to help with the effort needed for the task. Based on similar tools used in digital Agencies.

Branding sprint. Designed & planned a workshop inviting key stakeholders to participate. This sprint was to develop a brand name & personality before we built a brand identity.

Product Positioning: I was asked to develop a brand identity for Primary Decodables' literacy reading series. Before conceptualising a new visual identity, we needed to understand where this product sits within our current/future product offering.
